Online event on how A.P. Moller – Maersk reports on ESG

The Danish software company DecideAct hosts an online event about the importance of having strong governance, including processes, controls, and data capture underpinning the Strategy Execution for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). The event which takes place Tuesday, 09 May 2023 at 15:00 CET is targeted at CFOs, but other ESG practitioners are also invited to participate.

ESG Strategy is a top focus for most public and private organizations, and this outlines a new agenda for CFOs, ESG reporting, and not at least the way ESG is integrated into the corporate strategy and execution. Participants can expect, among other things, to gain an insight into how the world's biggest shipping company is handling its ESG reporting, how to organize and curate the right data, what the future ambition for ESG looks like, and how to integrate ESG reporting with the company’s strategy.

The keynote speaker is Henrik Jensen, Vice President and Head of Group Accounting, Governance, Risk & Controls at A.P. Moller – Maersk. He will introduce the key learnings and share the challenges from A.P. Moller – Maersk from working strategically with KPIs, including how to combine backward-looking KPIs with forward-looking KPIs. A.P. Moller – Maersk experienced a remarkable 2022 with revenue growth of 32%, profit growth of 57%, and record-high customer experience results.

Henrik Jensen has a background as a former Vice President, Head of Group Reporting & Financial Compliance at Vestas, State Authorized Public Accountant and Director in PwC's Global Accounting Consulting Services group, and external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School. Henrik Jensen knows good corporate governance well and has extensive experience in financial and non-financial reporting. He is experienced in risk management, financial reporting systems, and process optimization.
