DecideAct and KPMG Iceland host a conference on implementing sustainability strategies

Henrik Jensen from A.P. Moller - Maersk and Hafþór Ægir Sigurjónsson from KPMG Iceland will share their views on how sustainability is strategically implemented in business operations and provide examples from their respective companies.

Sustainability issues are playing an increasingly important role in business operations. Leaders who want to succeed in sustainability need to establish an appropriate organizational structure and effectively implement sustainability into their company's operations. But how do you do that? 

That question will be addressed when DecideAct and KPMG Iceland host a conference for top executives in Reykjavik on Wednesday, March 13th from 10:00-11:30 (CET). Keynote speakers and panelists are Hafþór Ægir Sigurjónsson, Head of Sustainability and Senior Manager at KPMG Iceland, and Henrik Jensen, Vice President and Head of Group Accounting, Governance, Risk & Controls at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Henrik Jensen is also a member of the Board of Directors of DecideAct A/S.

At the meeting, Hafþór Ægir Sigurjónsson will talk about what it means to implement sustainability strategically in business operations. Henrik Jensen will give an insight into how A.P. Moller - Maersk has formulated a clear vision for sustainability in its operations and linked strategy, goals and information to the topics most relevant to the company's success.

The panel, which also includes Hildur Magnúsdóttir, Country Manager at DecideAct, will discuss how strategic planning, targeted implementation and measurement of sustainability aspects can lead to greater success for companies.
